I am still trying to process what an unbelievably rewarding experience I had this weekend at Creative Estates. I had NO IDEA what to expect and so, expectations were completely non-existent. {I really prefer new experiences to start this way. Totally fresh and exciting!} It took about 5 hours of non-stop talking last night to get everything out that was filling my head and heart. My sweet husband made dinner and fed the kiddos, cleaned up the kitchen and did the other mom duties for me while I sat on the couch and blabbered on and on {and ON} to him about all that I had learned and felt and experience this weekend.
And then I took a nap. Isn't my husband AWESOME!!!!??????
I won't blabber on and on here. I will just say that I had a lovely time and learned a lot and met some unbelievably wonderful, strong and successful women that love to do what I do. It was really, really great.
I was excited to finally meet my long time friend, Erin, from The Vintage Pearl, in person. We have known each other for so many years but when I dropped off the face of the planet, I really lost touch with her (as well as all of my other online friends). It was so nice to meet her in REAL LIFE! She is such a strong, supportive woman, I am in awe and so proud of all of her accomplishments :) Ya'll should probably recognize my in town besties, Wendy and Heather. They rock, too!
{Shey and Tauni did an AWESOME JOB with everything. For real. Purple hearts, all around.}
{thumbs up. I laughed pretty much the whole time. Except for the times I was learning. Then I was all serious and stuff - this blur is what happens when I venture off of auto, by the way. Itsscary}
Here are the reps from Silhouette. They were really cute, but the dude in the glasses? I just really wanted to stick him in my pocket and take him home with me. In a TOTALLY platonic way :)
{and Wendy just really wanted a free silhouette!}
{lunchtime was lovely. Who knew framed grass could be so pretty?!}
{there was a LOT of this- This is not the most flattering picture I have ever posted of myself online, but it is so real and full of joy I couldn't resist!}
{and because of this group of ladies, I TOOK MY CAMERA OFF AUTO for the first time in about 6 years of owning it. So exciting! left to right: Kami Bigler, Laura Winslow, Alison Waken}
{And I didn't get a pic with my girl, but I did get a pic of her fabulous nametag! Hi Becca!}
All in all, a completely rewarding experience. And I am already planning for next year in Salt Lake City. Anyone else?
